Cabin Run began operating in Romney, WV in 1999.  Together, the brothers who started the company have a combined number of 78 years in the construction business.  They bring all of this experience to Cabin Run to make the building experience for each and every customer as smooth as possible

As a turn key builder, we appreciate the fact that to build a custom home, more than just putting up walls is involved.  That is why, as a part of the construction process, we can offer assistance in certain areas with which the homeowner may not be familiar, or may not be located conveniently to handle, such as the permitting process ( building, septic, and well).  In developments that require an architectural review, we can assist in compiling the necessary documents and filing them with the review committee.  We are able and equipped to provide complete excavation services, such as roadways, driveways, clearing, and excavating for foundations.  We are also licensed to provide Class I and Class II septic systems, as well as full electrical and plumbing services. With these advantages added to our experience, our company becomes a well rounded provider of construction services.

In July 2006, we completed a 5500 sq ft model Katahdin Cedar Log Home in McHenry, MD, at Deep Creek Lake.  This model home is our premier Showcase Home.  Please contact us at 304-822-6073 to schedule an appointment to see the home.

Several of our Katahdin Cedar Log Homes have been featured in prominent magazines. Project #MD02-4 was featured in the December 2004 issue of Log Home Living.  Project #WV06-2 was featured in the November/December 2008 issue of The Bethesda Magazine.  And, Project #MD02-1 was featured in the May 2009 issue of Country's Best Log Homes.

In the fall of 2008, we assisted in the construction of the Eddie Montgomery Steakhouse in Harrodsburg, KY.  Specifically, we were asked to build the log trusses and purlins in the roof system for the project.  You can see pictures of the steakhouse under construction on www.eddiemontgomerysteakhouse.com.
